Connecticut Color operates a 65,000 square foot facility located in Meriden, CT that has the ability to project management and provide a one-stop-shop solution that includes project design, digital prepress, offset printing, finish, image and mail.
Connecticut Color provides complete 5 days-a-week 24-hour-a-day manufacturing with weekends available upon request. Connecticut Color stands behind it’s products with quality and service that is second to none. While working on a project with Connecticut Color, you will experience hands-on service from planning to shipping. We take pride in providing the best price and schedule in the industry. Each job is reviewed in production before being passed onto prepress for layout and color proofing. All proofs and plates are read for accuracy before press. At press all sheets are read twice for accuracy and ruled out for fold trim accuracy. Color is signed off by the pressman and shift supervisor and quality pulls are completed throughout the run. If product moves to the bindery, the operator and shift supervisor sign-off on all operations and quality time pulls are done. Samples are inspected by the production manager assigned to your account. Lastly, shipping prepares the product to shipping utilizing auto shrinkwrapping of skids, corner or top boards, and steel banding to insure product arrives intact in good quality. We ship only with approved and insured vendors to insure quality and timely delivery.
Connecticut Color strives to manufacture all products complete under one roof to maintain quality and timely turn-around times. If product leaves our shop for manufacturing operations that we can not perform, the production manager goes offsite to the approved vendor to certify their work is up to our standards.
